The first round of the Leicester Autumn League saw our A Team compete at Market Harborough Leisure Centre against Leicester Sharks C, Melton B, Mkt Harborough B, Leicester Neptune B and Knighton Fields.  Rushden A lead the score board at this exciting event and came away in 1st place with a 21 point lead with 257 points.

Rushden B competed at Hinckley Leisure Centre and were drawn against Corby, Wellingborough B, Leicester Neptune A, Kettering A, Hinckly B and Loughborough B.  A tough draw for them as there was some strong competition, but some very good times achieved and they came away in 6th place with 123 points.

Well done to all of our swimmers, some brilliant swims which saw some of our younger swimmers step up into higher age groups and compete out of their comfort zone.  Thank you for your hard effort and support.

Harris Hoyte and Olivia Snook were awarded swimmer of the night owing to Harris's support with the younger swimmers on poolside in the B team and Olivia swimming multiple events for the A team, in her own age group and in the Open relays and individual events.  A tough challenge but she held her own - well done Olivia!

Looking forward to Round 2 - both teams will be head to head competing at Braunstone Leisure Centre on Saturday 12th November.  Good luck to all of our swimmers, swim your fastest!!
