20th April 2009 Call for Voluenteers for  26 April 2009

We are looking for volunteers to help out with timekeeping, particularly on 26th April with the 25m & 50m events.

We will be starting the swimmers off rapidly, ideally we would like to have two timekeepers per lane to time alternate heats.

No formal timekeeping qualification necessary, just confidence to use a stop watch!

These sessions are an opportunity for the club to obtain up to date times for all swimmers and your time will be very much appreciated. Please speak to Lynn Henman or Sue Aitken if you are able to help.

7th April 2009 Turn up and Swim FAST  26 April 2009

So that the most appropriate team can be selected for galas it is essential that I have up to date times for ALL of our swimmers. To help we have arranged a time trial on Sunday 26th April starting at 4.00pm.

We will be holding 25m and 50m races in all strokes and this is open to ALL swimmers and I would be expecting everyone to swim in at least 7 of the 8 events!!!. If you ask Steve really nicely he might let some our younger swimmers off the 50m butterfly!!

There is no need to register for these races just turn up 3:45pm ready to race as fast as you can on the day.
