We are both an ambitious and welcoming swimming club in East Northamptonshire offering a wide range of swimming whatever your age or ability.

We run lessons and competitive training for children and adults with some of the most experienced and respected coaches and instructors in the area.

LEICESTER DIDDY LEAGUE Rd 1. Well done to all of you who swam in round 1 of the Diddy League at Hinckley pool last night. Even without a full team you achieved a 2nd place - amazing.

Another fantastic day at Corby pool on the final day of this years County Championships. Again our wonderful swimmers achieved over 30 PBS. Today Molly Britchford, Ian Yarwood, Jack Britchford and Marcus Eaton all made the 100m freestyle finals.

Ladies 4x100m freestyle relay 4th, well done to Molly, Megan Denning, Hannah Harte and Claire Merriman.
Boys 13/u 4x100m freestyle relay 2nd, well done to Nathan Jones, Louis Boot, Harris Hoyte and Brett Davies
Men's 4x100m freestyle relay 2nd, well done to Jack, Marcus, Charlie Savage and Ian.
Girls 13/u 4x100m freestyle relay, well done to Lois Gorst, Chloe Bushell, Philippa Kabi and Lydia Pouncey.
We had two swimmers receive overall trophies in their age group, Brett Davies finished 4th in the 13yr age group and Ian Yarwood finished 3rd in the open age group, huge well done to you both.
So, a massive well done to all of you. You have done yourselves and the club extremely proud.
Thank you to our poolside volunteers, it has been a long couple of weekends but your help is always much appreciated.

Marcus Eaton and Molly Britchford both made the finals for 100m breaststroke, Molly has got her first midland time for 50m freestyle and Ian Yarwood finished 1st in the 50m freestyle.

A huge well done to our 8 younger swimmers who competed in the Development Gala at The Mounts on Saturday. All swam very well and the results are-
Jake Bushell - 1 length breaststroke 3rd, 1 length backstroke 4th, 2 lengths freestyle 5th, 1 length freestyle 3rd.
Holly Moultrie - 1 length breaststroke 4th.
Ryan Protty Gibbs - 1 length backstroke 4th, 1 length freestyle 6th.
Davin Smith 1 length breaststroke 2nd.
Jacob Williams 1 length butterfly 2nd, 1 length freestyle 1st, 1 length breaststroke 2nd.
Adley Smith, Amy-Kay Beasant & Roxy Rixon also took part.

Ian made the 100m butterfly final yesterday, Jack and Marcus made the 100m backstroke final today along with Molly making the 100m butterfly final.

MIDLAND SHORT COURSE
Another long, long day at Midland Short Course. The boys swam well again with Ian reaching the final of the 50m freestyle, and finishing an impressive 5th - well done Ian!
Again there was a proud moment as they competed in the 4 x 100m freestyle relay. Marcus, jack, Charlie and Ian swam in the first heat finishing a very close 2nd, but were quicker than two teams in the second heat - 8th overall, and breaking the club record by 10 seconds!! All 4 lads achieved fantastic 100m splits, it was very much worth the wait at the end of an extremely long weekend.
Well done boys, we are proud of you!!!!

After a very long first day of competition, our boys have done us proud in the 4 x 100m medley relay. They not only got some great splits, but they finished 4th in their heat and 11th or 12th overall. To top it off, they have smashed the RSC club record by 8 seconds. Tomorrow they have more individuals and the 4 x 100m freestyle relay - good luck lads!!!!!

Everyone swam very well with some amazing results. I am also SO proud of how all swimmers behaved and supported each other.

A medal to add to the list from yesterdays County Short Course. Ian Yarwood came 1st in the open 50m freestyle. Well done Ian!!!

Another day of competition

Another day of competition. Well done to all our swimmers who competed at the County Short Course competition. Lots of PBS again and medals from Molly Britchford 3rd in the 50 fly and Jack Britchford 3rd in 50 breast, 2nd in 50 back and 3rd in 50 freestyle.
Our relay teams swam amazingly. Well done to our girls Claire Merriman, Molly Britchford, Lydia Pouncey, Poppy Davies and Jennie Bryans, they finished 5th in both the IM and freestyle relays. The boys, Marcus Eaton, Charlie Savage, Jack Britchford, Ian Yarwood and James Merriman finished 2nd in both the IM and freestyle relays - just missing out on a win in the freestyle relay by 1 tenth of a second!!!!

The ASA's Event Volunteer Programme for 2013/14 has now launched and they are looking for applications

The ASA's Event Volunteer Programme for 2013/14 has now launched and they are looking for applications.

The programme is aimed at increasing the number of management level event volunteers to support British Swimming and the ASA to run their national events. They are looking for 20 up and coming event volunteers who will benefit from face to face training days, online modules and placements at a minimum of 2 of their events. There are a variety of roles including front of house, field of play and technology among others, and they aim to give candidates experience in a range of disciplines too.
