Honda Power of Dreams Relay Gala

Well done to all of our swimmers who took part in the Wellingborough Swimming Club's Honda Power of Dreams Relay Competition on Saturday 22nd April at Waendal Leisure Centre. Competing teams were Rushden, Nene Valley, Wellingborough A, Kettering and Daventry.
This was a very wild, furious and fast moving event and the team spirit and adrenaline were pumping, everybody had a tremendous amount of fun.
This clearly showed in our scores; with Rushden and Wellingborough both drawing in 1st place on the night with 144 points each. The winner therefore, had to be decided upon number of 1st placings and Wellingborough came out ahead with 15 first place wins against Rushden's 14.
Cups were presented for winners of each stroke and Rushden achieved 1st prize for Freestyle.
