Wellingborough Relay Gala - Winning Team

RUSHDEN SWIMMING CLUB SWIMMERS TEAM WORK BRINGS HOME THE GOLD
50 swimmers from RSC aged from 9 – 20 years competed in the WASC Trophy Relay Gala at Waendal Leisure Centre in Wellingborough on Saturday 21stApril. Each event was swam as a team of 4 relay style in age groups 9-10yrs, 12yrs and under, 14yrs and under and Open; battling against 4 other County teams.
Last year Rushden defaulted to second place after drawing in first position, but this year the club stormed through winning the Overall Gala Trophy, plus Trophies for top team in Breaststroke, Butterfly and Medley.
Well done to all RSC swimmers – a very well deserved 1stplace win and great team work throughout the night.
