Team Luton April Long Course

Team Luton's April Long Course Open took place over the Easter weekend of 15th/16th April. This was a Level 1 meet with some very fast competition and a final opportunity for our seniors to achieve qualifying times for Regionals.
Unfortunately 33 rejections were made to our proposed entries which was very disappointing for swimmers.
16 swimmers competed over the the six session weekend; Arabella Scotney, Ashleigh Bales, Caitlin Hopkins, Callum Protty-Gibbs, Ciara Usher, Freya Cole, Hannah Hawkins, Henry Knight, Jack Chapman, Kayleigh Johnson, Marcus Eaton, Megan Rowthorn, Mollie Chapman, Molly Britchford, Olivia Snook, Tamzin Rowthorn.
A total medal haul of 2 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze was achieved over the weekend with medals coming from
Callum - 400m IM Gold
Ciara - 50m Backstroke Silver, 50m Freestyle Bronze, 100m Freestyle Gold, 100m Backstroke Silver
Freya - 50m Freestyle Bronze
Tamzin - 400m IM Silver
