RUSHDEN SWIMMERS BRING HOME THE 2017 SADIE MURRAY SHIELD ONCE MORE

Saturday 20th May saw Rushden Swimming Club take home the Sadie Murray Shield once more; competing against 5 other County Clubs.  The last time being in 2015 and the first in 2007.

This competition is open to affiliated Competitive County Clubs and is different to the norm as it penalises swimmers for swimming too fast.

Rushden took the lead from the start and held on to win the Gala by 14 points, achieving 17 pb's out of 24 individual events. Two speeding offences were received.

Well done to our winning team:

Priya Kerley, James Orton, Amy-Kay Beasant, Matthew Orton, Olivia Beasant, Jordan Coles, Lauren King, Harry Chapman, Lara Yilmaz, Ryan Protty-Gibbs, Elena Vasileva, Jacob Williams, James Devlin-Hogg, Keira Swallow, Lois Withers, Dylan Walton-Pratt, Lucy Jupp, Noah Williams, Luke Williams, Rachel Frazer, Bertie Malsher.

Another fantastic achievement for our club!
