County Long Course Championships Report

The first weekend of the NASA County Champs saw 30 new Regional qualifying times!!! For some this was a first and definitely something to be very proud of. Well done to our Juniors - Henry, Mollie and Jake!!
Sunday's events saw our 13/under Boys compete in the 4x50m freestyle relay finishing in 4th place, with Davin unfortunately just missing out on a Regional qualifying time by 0.1 second. Girls 13/under 4x100m Medley team put in a strong performance finishing 4th and the Men's Open 4x50m Freestyle team swam their socks off right through to a nail biting finish resulting in 4th position.
Well done to Mollie Chapman for achieving a club record in the 800m Freestyle event at the NASA Counties. She was very happy with her time of 11.18 and delighted to be swimming next to Ellie Robinson.
A huge well done to all of our 56 qualifiers who swam over the three weekends of the NASA 2017 Long Course Countie Champs, many many PB's achieved, and many more Regional qualifiers, you have achieved over and above our expectations and made us all SO proud of you all.
